NABC announcement will probably be over FF weekend.
Note that the NCAA does not use either the Wooden or Naismith awards in determining consensus status.
But who else are those stalwarts going to choose?

*Wooden's alma mater. Not only a great coach, he was AA and NPOY for Purdue, so great that he is in the NMBHOF as both a coach and a player.
Announcement will be made as part of ESPN's College Basketball Awards show.

So the Wooden award is the only one left? As far as I could tell, he's gotten them all so far including of course the big one--Naismith. I read that there was only one year in which the Wooden and Naismith did NOT go to the same player so keeping fingers crossed! Hopefully that UCLA connection with the Ball kid doesn't screw up that award!

With that, his Kansas career will officially be over, when the walk to accept the Wooden Award — should he win it — will mark the final time that Mason represents KU on a national stage.
