This highly rated prospect is showing mutual interest in Kansas. 5/21/01 - Kelly has made an unofficial visit to KU last year and is being pursued by several schools. The LJW reports that Mike Sullivan believes Kelly's summer play will determine whether KU and Stanford will offer. The old PACWest Hoops site has Kelly rated the number three big man on the west coast. 6/14/01 - Kelly has added some schools to his list. He is participating in several notable camps this summer and playing on a strong AAU team - the Oakland Slam n Jam. He is currently participating in the USA Junior team tryouts. 8/5/01 From Rob Harrington with PrepStars - Kelly has reportedly narrowed his list five school primarily. Orchard told PrepStars.com at the Elite Eight he'd like to make his decision soon. "I'm looking at Boise State, Colorado State, UMass, Santa Barbara and Cal," Orchard said. Apparently Boise State and Santa Barbara have offered, while Colorado State could be close. Kelly will go on a church mission for two years before returning to school after playing one year.
