Verballed Oklahoma Over: Connecticut, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Kansas 2/27/01 - From Rivals. This highly rated (4 star) prospect has reportedly had an offer extended by KU according to ACC Recruiting Update but Rivals100Hoops disputes that. He has been averaging around 22 ppg this year. 8/28/01 - There has not been much news as far as KU recruiting DeAngelo which goes to show that as fans we have a pretty limited knowledge base. Now we learn from the Lawrence Journal World that he is visiting with fellow AAU teammate Keven Bookout for Late Night. He is planning on visiting Illinois, Arkansas, Oklahoma as well. His former HS coach, OU star Terry Evans, has joining the OU staff. 9/7/01 - No surprise here. Numerous reports of DeAngelo's commitment to OU.
