Possession analysis

That's a pretty good week (two road wins in conference). You would take that every day. We went through the first 17 or 18 minutes of the first half and we were playing okay and had a real nice run right before the half. Then we came out and had a nice run about mid-way through the second half. Bryant Nash came in and made two big baskets for us during that stretch, and we did some nice things. But the team we were playing, you know they just beat Texas at Texas, they made a bunch of shots against them and they made a bunch of shots against us in the second half. I wasn't as pleased as I'd like to be, by any means. We turned it over four times out of five possessions there during one stretch. But you have to feel good about a road win, and feel good about a game in which you can have everybody play at the end of the game.

"We shot 48.4% in both halves. They made some shots in the second half that they didn't make in the first half. But that's a good basketball team that had two good wins and felt much more comfortable and confident than before those games started.

"Kirk was 8-2 (assists to turnovers) and Aaron was 7-2, and I thought Aaron did some really nice things for us out there today. Five of ten (FG), and two of the shots he missed I think were still some indecision about whether he should be shooting. We've got to try to get that indecision out. Either shoot it or don't shoot it. Bosch didn't have his normal day and Keith Langford didn't have his normal day at one for six, but Bryant came off and was two for two for us.

"I thought one of the keys to our game was making the free throws. Twenty-one out of 25 from the free throw line. And we rebounded the ball much better in the second half. They had outrebounded us the first half, and by the end of the game we had outrebounded them by three, so we did a better job on the boards.

"(Monday vs Missouri) we'll see what happens. I think I know who we play."
