"It was a hard game to coach. I didn't think we were playing very intelligently, and foul trouble on top of that really made it difficult. We had a great run over about a five-minute stretch there early in the second half. We got it inside, got it where we wanted to, we defended, and all of a sudden we've got a 13-point lead. Then we got into such foul trouble, kept putting them on the free throw line, and they kept making 'em. Then we made some of the silliest turnovers I've ever had a team make. "Then at the end, we played very good defense for 17 seconds, and that was the ball game. I thought it should have been our ball on the sideline over there because I thought it went off their guy. But we gave 'em another chance, we had to guard again, and for that 17 seconds we guarded as well as we have all year."
