His name is Rustin Dodd (J09), and it seems he wrote for the UDK while at KU.
Here's his introduction in Campus Corner, in which he mentions lots of reasons why he feels he understands what KU means to people, but not the fact that he is a KU grad who worked for the University Daily KANSAN. As the initial commenter to his article notes, have to wonder why he omits that? Caveat lector?
