If it was simply mistaken intelligence, which I think it was more than that, than that's one helluva mistake. It's not really productive to have the journalist push her confrontationally like she did - I don't know if you saw that interview - but this isn't an issue of a ratings seeking journalist versus the class of Condi (she wins on that accord). I believe it was rush to war and that they twisted and misstated the intelligence to support their decision to invade. When it turns out to be a mistake, they justify it by saying "you voted for it" and "the world is a safer place without Hussein."
So maybe the agent orange example is not a good analogy. Just saying.
