I see your point, but I think that is due to the extreme deterioration in civil discourse that has taken place which has created an even greater divide amongst us. It has now taken on a life of its own and feeds off itself.

As I may have mentioned elsewhere, the political rhetoric has turned into personal attacks as part of the rhetoric and it is not a good thing, imo.
