Thanks for pulling the info. Where does one find that kind of info anyway, short of the DVR?
Either way, it's ugly stuff.
Based solely on my observations without any re-watching fo the game, it really looked to me that right about the time we extended the lead to 20, both sides seemed disinterested, the crowd was out of it, and it looked like the point in the game where both coaches would clear the benches and run the clock out. What surprised me (more than once actually) was how much time was actually left in the game. I distinctly remember thinking to myself, "geez, there's 9 minutes left?!?" because it seemed like I was watching a 20 point lead with 2 minutes left.
For whatever reason, A&M appeared to suddenly realign themselves mentally. A couple quick scores (one of which was a 3) and it was like they woke up again (while we kept on sleeping). When HCBS called timeout, it appeared that HE knew there was trouble coming, but the team didn't seem to react very well (maybe a little panic?). Once it got to 10, there was plenty of time left, and it was neck and neck to the end.
In fact (maybe I already said this earlier) I kind of felt bad for the A&M crowd (or thankful for KU) that it appeared that a bunch of them had already gone home and were missing a close finish.
Anyway, weird stuff. I'm turning my focus to Mizzou now.
