Releford set to play in Belgium next year, but has NBA escape clause

June 29, 2013 09:37AM

Travis is really in a great position right now. The Belgium contract ensures paydays for next year, and in the meantime he gets the chance to play summer league ball for both the Pacers and the Nuggets. And if they -- or some other NBA team -- decide to pick him up, he can drop out of the Belgium contract at any time.

Also note that Elijah will be playing summer ball with the Clippers.

Have not seen anything yet on what is happening with Kevin Young.

Wish them all the very best as the leave the nest!

"So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late" -- Bob Dylan
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. - Mark Twain, "Innocents Abroad"
