I know that Misery is the land of 24/7/365 fireworks stands...

...but what other school in the country would decide that it's a good idea to shoot off a boatload of fireworks prior to the start of a basketball game in a closed, indoor arena???

They literally had to stop the Iowa State game awhile ago because of soot and pyrotechnic remnants falling from the air onto the court.

Incidentally, they did this prior to the KU game also, forcing all of the players to run full-speed in cardio mode, while inhaling and exhaling the pollutants.

Good grief!
