Big game tonight, and it would be amazing if ISU could ruin MU's day. The good news is that they should be VERY motivated for it. Currently ISU sits in 4th place:
KU: 15-2
MU: 12-4
BU: 12-5
ISU: 11-5
Granted, ISU and MU have played one fewer game than KU and BU, so from a "loss only" standpoint, ISU is roughly even with BU. Still, if ISU loses tonight, MU will be alone in 2nd place, and ISU will be alone in 4th place. IF, however, ISU can win tonight there will be a 3 way tie for 2nd place between MU, BU, and ISU. In short, this game shoots ISU up 2 places in the standings with one game left in the season. I'm sure that winning in Columbia would also bolster ISU's tourney resume quite nicely. So as I said, they've certainly got enough reasons to bring it tonight.
As we know, ISU is good this year. While winning in Columbia is no simple feat, if any team in the league has a chance, ISU does. C'mon Cyclones! Get 'er done!!
