I was at the game. At halftime, most fans looked a little worried, but seemed to want the game to get restarted so we could mount our comeback. Of course, moo extended the lead. I began to just hope we would make a game of it. Getting run out of our own gym was I unfathomable. And, it was certainly no fun to watch. When we made a couple shots followed by stops, there seemed to be collective relief that thinking there's our boys, we knew they could do it. As the sixth man, we wanted to join the team on the court. Because all we could really do is make noise, we took it to 118 or so decibels and kept it there through the succeeding defensive stand. We six got another stop and we were having a blast. I thought we would dominate the OT ala 2008 NC game. Nail biter to the end, though. with the final buzzer, I think the decibel level must have risen to at least 125 as we expressed our mixed feelings of relief and euphoria.
